VaYetze

In Parashah VaYetze, there are mathematic allusions to God's Explicit Name in numerous places. Consider the phrase: “...complete the week with one and we will give you the other."

To understand how this correlates with God's Name, flashback to last week's parashah (Toldot) where the signature geometry was embedded in the language of the phrase: "...when it came time for her to give birth, twins were in her womb." The subject of that parashah dealt with the pregnancy of Rivka and the twins, Yaacov and Esav. However, these "twins" were in her womb throughout the entire gestation period, not merely "when it came time for her to give birth,” alluding to the Shechina (Holy Feminine) and the luchot, or more specifically the twins that intrinsically reflect the unique Signature of the Architect.

This week, in VaYetze, we see the instant replay with the same Signature, only this time the twins are Leah and Rachail. Yaacov is told: “complete the week with one and we will give you the other.” God says to Yaacov (Israel) complete the week (observe the Shabbat ) and we will give you the other (luchot) that are each 6 x 6 x 3 (108) times 2. J
ust as Israel would later receive 'twins' (the shnei luchot) Yaacov here receives twins. Each event is a reflection of a larger reality where the signature geometry repeats itself as time moves forward in the physical universe.

We will provide additional details in a moment, however those who are new to this blog should read each of the essential constructs listed in the column to the right before proceeding. These pages reveal some of the basic mathematic connections between the letters of God's Explicit Name and the multidimensional geometric characteristics of the luchot, both in the divided state and combined cubic form, along with the internal geometry that casts a shadow known as a magen david. There is a special connection between the Name, the luchot and the geometry of the magen, and together they form a unique signature. We refer to this geometry and its mathematic common denominator as the Signature of the Architect. The purpose of this blog is to show how all of these things connect, and to reveal where the signature geometry is hidden, not only in each week’s parashah, but also such things as quantum mechanics, the physics of time and space, celestial dynamics, biology, chemistry (etc). Once you are familiar with these constructs you can more fully appreciate each post.

In Parashah VaYetze, there are additional allusions to the Explicit Name as well. Yehuda, for example, is born to Yaacov and his birth has special significance. Not only was he the father of the tribe of Judah, but his descendants would bear the royal line of kingship ("the sceptre shall not depart from Yehuda") that was passed down from the pre-flood kings as explained in the post on Bereishit and Noach. Yehuda is the father of the lasting jews and it would be from his descendants that Messiah would come. The term ‘Jew’ means “comes from the tribe of Judah.” Of all the tribes, this is the one that lasted throughout the ages and has returned to fulfill its role in the cosmic scheme of things as we approach 6,000 years of human history. This is not the place to go into why this has happened. It is sufficient to point out that Yehuda has been and will always be the father of the Jews.

It should therefore come as no surprise that his name and the circumstances surrounding his birth have great significance with regard to God’s Name(s). He was the 4th child of Yaacov, and father of the 4th tribe. Events or circumstances in the Torah that are characterized by the number 4 are almost invariably associated with more than one instance of the number 4, because each is a reflection of the Explicit Name and the nature of its abbreviated forms in the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton; the 4 letters of its polar opposite in Adnoot, and their combination (marriage) that result in the 4 letters of Ehyeh.

This is the same “reflection” that was seen in the post on Parashah Ki Thetze, where the 4 strands of tzitzith were doubled over and become 4 opposite 4, on 4 corners of the garment.

This reflection was seen again last week, in Parashah Toldot: 4 wells were dug by Avraham; the 4 wells were then filled in by the Philistines; but then the 4 wells return to their earlier state when they are re-dug by Yitzchak.

The significance of these reflections is very lofty and requires contemplation. If you want to know God’s Name then take time (make the time) to comprehend this. If you want more information pertaining to this aspect of God’s Explicit Name and its abbreviated forms, then re-read the posts on Maasey & Devarim and Ki Thetze and specifically the Marriage of the Letters.

Here in this parashah, we see this same reflection again. Only this time, it is found in the name and the circumstances surrounding Yehuda who is the fourth son and father of the fourth tribe. Yehuda's name is also comprised of the four letters that spell the Tetragrammaton

In addition to the letters of the Tetragrammaton, it also has another letter, specifically a Daled (ד) which has a gematria of four. It's the fourth letter of Yehudah’s name as Yehuda is the fourth son. Coincidence? Not hardly—same reflection—a mathematic reflection arising from a basic mathematic imperative of the primordial torah (luchot) and its signature geometry!

In the cosmic scheme of things, the division of the letters in God’s Name (into their respective male and female counterparts) create and sustain a physical universe in male/female form. We see this “division” or polarization of (male-female) letters in both: 1) the Explicit Name with 216 letters, where the division is seen when the luchot are brought down and where each half has a volumetric measure of 108 cubic handbreadths, and where the word “half” (chetzei) has a gematria of 108; and 2) in the 4 letters of Ehyeh that 'divide' (male opposite female) into the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton opposite the 4 letters of  Adnoot that are similarly divided/polarized into their respective male and female counterparts (recombined within human consciousness during the four bows). The blueprint mathematically reflects this imperative because it is necessary for maintaining space-time in a physical universe having male-female attributes (duality) and this is also why we see its reflection in the world below as the history of mankind unfolds.

With the division of the 216 letters of the Explicit Name into 108 opposite 108 (as seen in the luchot) and the division of the 4 (letters in Ehyeh) into the 4 opposite 4 of the Tetragrammaton and Adnoot, the underlying basis for a physical universe in male-female form is put in place, and so creation progresses accordingly, in male-female form. This can be seen in the male-female aspects of the luchot, where the combined cubic form consists of 5 internal mathematic constructs and 5 polar opposites (the duality of the 5). This is not only found in the ”physical nature” of the cosmic blueprint, but also the physical nature of the created universe, as found in the 5 string theories reconciled by dual resonance).

Where do we see this reflection in this week’s parsahah? When the Daled is added to the Tetragrammaton to “create” the name of Yehuda, it moves the last letter of the Tetragrammaton, the letter Hey (ה) to the fifth position, where it becomes the 5th letter of his name. The letter Hey (ה)  has a gematria of 5. The nature of the blueprint (in the combined cubic form of the luchot) with its 5 internal mathematic constructs and their 5 opposites is essentially the mathematic by-product of the separation of the letters into their 4 male and 4 female counterparts. So we see in this parashah, not one, but two reflected forms of the Explicit Name and the luchot it defines in terms of 4 opposite 4 and 5 opposite 5.

What this means of course, is that Yehuda’s name (substance/essence) is very special. His name is literally the Tetragrammaton (one of the abbreviations) with the addition of the daled. So the shadow of the Creator’s Name of 216 letters is seen in the 4 letters of the abbreviation manifested in the physical person of Yehuda whose name consists of those letters, along with the 5th letter that alludes to the mathematic nature of the blueprint; the halacha that his descendants would observe; and the nature of the physical universe in which this observance would take place. Each is simply a time-dependent reflection of the creation equation.

The letter daled (with a gematria of 4) is equally revealing in that it is in the 4th position of this name, manifested in the 4th son. This is a direct reflection again, of: 1) the 4 letters in the Tetragrammaton; 2) the 4 letters of Adnoot and; 3) their “recombinant form” in the 4 letters of Ehyeh. This is why the last of these Names (the unified form: Ehyeh) is seen in verse 31:3 where God tells Yaacov to...return to the Land of your fathers, … and I (Ehyeh) will be with you” (the return being in essence a unification of the Name). The reason the Jewish people are “married” to the land (and must return) is that our very existence is wrapped up in the unification of the letters in God’s Name (last week’s post explains why this Name is used in reference to the land). That’s why returning to the land is necessary to sanctify the Name. The 4 letters of the abbreviation(s) as they pertain to the land are then manifested in verse 28:14 where the 4 cardinal directions: north-south-east-west are then mentioned, their physical existence being “measured” by, and dependent upon this Name.

The three (four-letter abbreviations) of the Name are a reflection of the triad nature of the One Unique fully expanded Explicit Name that consists of 72 triplets. There are many reflections of these “triplets” in this week’s parashah. Each is a reflection of the Name. There are, for example:

3 flocks of sheep waiting to be watered when Yaacov comes to the well in Charan.

3 days pass before Lavan is told Yaacov has fled.
(After having separated the sheep that would be Yaacov’s wages: 30:36

3 days distance is put between Lavan and Yaacov and thus 3 days pass
before Lavan is told that Yaacov has fled).

3 types of fresh rods are used by Yaacov (poplar, hazel, chestnut)
(he then peels them to create the “hypnotic sheep mating sticks”)

3 types of sheep result from using three types of rods: ringed, speckled, and checkered.

Notice that there are four instances of 3. The events that give rise to these numbers are dictated by the internal geometry of the luchot, as mentioned in the essential construct on the primordial torah. In this case it is an aspect of the tetrahedron within the cube (which is one of its five internal mathematic constructs) that has four triangular faces with a total of 720 degrees.  Each alludes to the nature of the Name with 3 x 72 or 216 letters abbreviated as four (opposite four).

The 4 letters in Yehuda’s name that are those of the Tetragrammaton, plus the 5th letter (the daled) have a gematria of 30 (or 3 “tens”). The 4 instances above are another reflection of the abbreviations and the “3” alludes to the triad nature of the Name. The reason for the multiple of 10, is that Yehuda’s descendants (until today) have always kept (collectively) the 10 Commandments inscribed on the luchot, whose volumetric measure corresponds to the total number of letters in the Triad Havaya of 72 (216). Other tribes of Israel did not keep the commandments and were ultimately lost, and so as we mentioned above, the surviving Jews are (mostly) from the tribe of Judah/Yehuda.

Additional reflections of this geometry are found in the circumstances involving Yaacov’s journey to Charan when he stops in Luz. He has a dream in which God appears, so when he awakes, he calls the place Beth El. Luz (the original name) has a gematria of 43. The integer sequence in the gematria (that should now sound vaguely familiar) consists of the numbers that happen to characterize the above events/circumstances. Beth El (the new name) however, has a gematria of 443 (a star tetrahedron which is the geometry of unification has four faces on one half, and four faces on the other half, each with 3 corners. The cosmic blueprint (primordial torah) ultimately specifies reality in the world below. In this case, the names reflect the larger reality. The change in the name of this place, as seen in the sequence of numbers in their gematria, is the same with the exception of the additional 4 following the first 4. Yaacov says in 28:17 “Surely God is present in this place!” He then changes the name from Luz (43) to Beth El (443) alluding both to the two primary abbreviations in the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton and the 4 letters of Adnoot, and the nature of their position in the Triad Name that define His presence in this place (a total of 72 small faces with 3 corners on the 4 faces of one opposite the 4 faces of the other). In other words, the Name and its abbreviations define the geometry of the blueprint (luchot) which in turn defines the world below, or the nature of creation as it progresses over time, toward unification, and its ultimate perfection. Names are important. They reflect the essence of what is named; what has happened; or what will happen in the future. That’s why our tzadikkim recommend changing the name of someone who is sick, to restore their health. It's not the new name that is important, so much as how accurately the new name reflects the letters of the Creator's Name.

In order to explain it a little differently, the letters have their counterpart in the numbers and sets of numbers in the mathematic structure of the star tetrahedron (three-dimensional magen david) which is a geometric reflection of the letters in God’s Explicit Name. This reflection (which is again 1 of 5 internal constructs within the combined cubic form of the luchot) defines the geometry of a star tetrahedron that happens to consist of a tetrahedron with 4 faces/points opposite another tetrahedron with 4
faces/points, each face having 3 corners. The internal geometry of the luchot (blueprint) defines reality in the world below, although we seem to decide (by our actions) how it is to be manifested. In this case, Yaacov sanctified God’s Name (proclaiming God’s Presence) in this place (Luz) by changing its name to Beth El. Of course, as you might suspect, the Presence of God’s Name is found in many additional places. We’ve examined the 3s and the 4s. The 7s are also somewhat revealing.

The 7s (as we’ve explained many times throughout the blog) generally correlate to our observance of calendar related halachah. However, they are an inherent aspect of the blueprint (luchot) as well. Sometimes they are seen as 7 opposite 7, in which case they are a one-dimensional reflection of the magen david in the form of its 7 elements opposite 7 elements (as explained in the post on Emor which is a prerequisite to understanding this particular reflection of God’s Name). In other cases they appear as three 7s, in which case they are a one-dimensional metric expression that corresponds to (the cubic nature) in the cycles of 7 that mark the passage of time, a construct that hides three 6s corresponding to the combined cubic form of the luchot and the letters of the Explicit Name
as detailed in posts like BeHar and Bechuko-thai.

In this parashah, we see this aspect of the blueprint/luchot manifested in: 1) the 7 years that Yaacov worked for Rachel but then by deception marries Leah instead; 2) the 7 days of wedding celebrations after the wedding and then; 3) Yaacov agrees to work another 7 years for Rachel. These three 7s define the cycles of “time” in a physical universe with
three observable spacial dimensions, invariably expressed in terms of sevens like 7 days (week) 7 x 7 days (omer) 7 years (shmitah) 7 x 7 years (jubilee). All are reflections of cycles pertaining to halachah, defined by the geometry of the luchot. This observance (that reflects the nature of time) as previously mentioned, “hides” the 216 elements, which are the spaces/intersections within the matrix that corresponds to the combined cubic form of the luchot and the 216 letters of the Explicit Name (again, explained more fully in the post on BeHar and Bechuko-thai).

In this case, there were not only 7 (years) for Leah and 7 (years) for Rachel:
7 opposite 7 (years) but also 7 (days) of wedding celebrations, that then led to the 7 (days) it took for Lavan to catch up with Yaacov on Mt. Gilead. So we see the 7s as both 7 opposite 7 (as in the royal seal of the magen david) but also three 7s as in the matrix of time that hides the Signature of the Architect, a signature that is now complete after the culmination of these events. A triangle coincidentally consists of three points (from among a total of 7 elements) where one point is different from the other two points (any two of its points exist in one dimension while the third point is in the second dimension with respect to the first two). The events (below) mirror the geometry imposed by the primordial blueprint, and so the sevens take the form of 7 (years) for Leah; 7 (years) for Rachel and 7 (days) of celebration, where one period (or measure) of time, is different from the other two.

This series of events continues when Lavan eventually catches up to Yaacov. They make a treaty and then pile stones on top of one another to mark the spot. The terms of the treaty required each to refrain from crossing the border to harm the other, and the stones marked the border set by the treaty. Then they name the place Gilead which is actually two words (“Gal” and “Aid”) that mean “witness mound,” in reference to the stones. Each person was of course required to keep his half of the bargain. The gematria of “half” is 108 (as is the gematria for "the stones" which is what they had piled up as a "witness"). The new name for the place was Gilead, but it has a gematria of 107, which falls "1 short" of the mark (108 being half). The implication was that 1 party (Lavan) would not keep his half of the bargain. Yaacov may have suspected as much. In next week’s parashah, we’ll see how this is rectified.

At any rate, the treaty required each party to refrain from crossing the border to cause harm to the other, but soon after, Yaacov encounters Esav coming against him with 400 men (next week’s parashah). How did Esav know that Yaacov was coming? It turns out that when Lavan got home, he sent his son Beor to incite Esav, to kill Yaacov, in violation of the treaty he had just made (hence the defective gematria).

Beor along with AviCheref, the son of Utz (who was the son of Nahor) and 10 men (quite an entourage) run to Seir to do the will of Lavan. When they reach Esav, they spin a twisted tale accusing Yaacov of deception. Beor tells Esav that Yaacov "left suddenly" without telling Lavan, as though Yaacov had committed a crime (the alleged reason for leaving suddenly). The truth was that Yaacov knew Lavan would try to prevent his departure and he had no alternative. However, the truth didn't matter to Beor as long as the desired result was achieved. And indeed it was, as the allegation reminded Esav that Yaacov deceived him too, by "stealing" the blessings and birthright (which was never true in the first place since the birthright had been purchased). Then after further distorting the truth, and getting Esav worked up, they inform him of Yaacov’s whereabouts. So Esav gathers an army and marches against Yaacov. The bottom line is that Lavan, lacking any respect for God or what God requires of men (alluded to by each luchot with 108 cubic handbreadths and the commandment against "bearing false witness" or "murder") failed to keep his "half" of the bargain alluded to by the gematria of Gilead (107). Gilead, made up of the 2 words (even in the Aramaic of 31:47) signified the treaty made by 2 parties, or 2 halves. To rectify the breach in the treaty, God had Lavan die within 2 years of his violation of the treaty, so we see 107 (Gilead) + 107 (Lavan's unkept half of the treaty) 'create' the requirement limiting his life to 2 more years: 107 + 107 + 2 = 216. The events once again are specified in the geometry of the luchot and the letters of creation, that are once again, themselves derived from the letters of the Name

In summary, we’ve seen numerous instances in this parashah where a knowledge of God’s Explicit Name is a prerequisite for both protection and blessing. The signature geometry here takes one of 3 primary mathematic and/or geometric forms: 4 opposite 4 (that are 4); 5 opposite 5, and 3 x 72. These reflections of the Name go hand-in-hand with understanding the nature of the luchot and what God requires of man. When Israel honors God’s Name and observes halacha, "he" is blessed and protected. When "he" does not, the blessings and protections take a different form, a form involving painful realizations that inevitably lead Israel back to its original path, ultimately destined to "return" (4 times) to the Land; a path involving tikkun (rectification) of human consciousness; and a path that invariably reflects every aspect of the letters in God's Name.
