Mishpatim

In the beginning (beresheit) God created the universe. In this week's parashah we see specific reverberations of that process. The original event occurred eons ago. In Mishpatim however, the echo of these events is both seen and heard, and will continue to be experienced for millennia to come. What were these reverberations? What form did they take? Theory aside, what evidence do we have that the first event even took place?

All of these questions will be answered in a moment. However, if you are new to this blog and have not yet read the essential constructs listed in the column to the right, please do so before proceeding. They explain some of the basic connections between the letters of God's Explicit Name and the multidimensional mathematic and geometric characteristics of the luchot, both in the divided state and combined cubic form, along with the internal geometry that casts a shadow known as a magen david. There is a special connection between the Name, the luchot and the geometry of the magen. The purpose of this blog is to show how they all connect and to reveal where the Signature of the Architect is hidden in each week’s parashah. Once you are familiar with these constructs you can more fully appreciate each post.

For those who have already explored these constructs, the reverberations we mentioned above are events that actually occur repeatedly throughout history. For the most part, they remain  invisible, but they can be perceived as a function of geometry. How is this possible?

Our sages tell us that when God decided to create the world, he looked into the [primordial] Torah. We often call this the cosmic blueprint. However a more accurate description might be what we refer to as the combined cubic form of the luchot. The combined form of the tablets was in the shape of a cube. It is the mathematic properties of this cube that are the foundation of the universe. Thus the stone is referred to as the foundation stone (evan shetiyah). It is the primordial form of the luchot. The 216 letters of His Name correspond to 216 elements that define the measure of the stone (like the volumetric measure of the luchot). Letters can be permuted in various ways, and so the the Sages of Israel say that the entire Torah is in effect God's Name1. In ancient times (before the flood) awareness of this cube [of creation] was more common and it was a source of great knowledge. Enoch became metatron, as is known. The name metatron refers to the measurement (and knowledge of the system) conveyed by the embedded properties of the stone. This is why it is referred to as "the cube of [the angel] metatron2".

Man’s path eventually became corrupt and this knowledge misused. The world was destroyed and man's understanding of these things was lost. Different accounts were passed down over the millennia but the explanation became more and more distorted until the mechanics of the process became the stuff of myth and legend. What we can glean from the fragments of information available, is that from the very beginning, the universe was perceived through the lens of this mathematic system. The remaining fragments of this knowledge are today perceived only by understanding what is more commonly known as the shnei luchot (two tablets) that were 'divided' and "brought down" by Moshe. Each tablet is described in terms of its 'measure' as 6 x 6 x 3 (handbreadths). When you put the two halves together, it becomes 'the foundation stone' measuring 6 x 6 x 6 handbreadths, or 216 cubic handbreadths. The need for its division (as it would pertain to creation) will become apparent as we proceed.

Even though most antediluvian knowledge was lost, God chose to restore some of it to mankind after the flood. It comes down to us in bits and pieces, and we see these remnants in mathematic systems like those involving the mysterious origin of sexigesimal units of measure; the Fibonacci sequence of numbers (the sequence of numbers is of course much older and found in more ancient sources like sanskrit texts); the 360 degree 'measure' of a circle; the 4 compass directions, north, south, east and west; the measure of an hour that is 60 minutes; the measure of a minute that is 60 seconds; the corresponding measure of a circle or sphere in terms of 60 arc-minutes with 60 arc seconds per minute; the measure of the earth in terms of 24 hours (which is a function not only of time but a specific pattern embedded in the Fibonacci sequence that is related to the actual rotation of the earth) and also the measure of an earth with a equatorial circumference of 21,600 nautical miles. All of these bits and pieces are a function of the cubes properties, and interestingly enough, some of this knowledge is finding its way to the internet. So the knowledge is gradually being restored and absorbed into the collective framework of human consciousness.

It's important to understand that the origin of this knowledge and its underlying mathematic systems are all found in the 'measure' of the primordial Torah, which was the mathematic nature of "the foundation stone" that God looked into before He created the world. The nature of the mathematics is so sophisticated that it is no longer understood, and we are only now rediscovering parts of it. Much is still beyond our ability to comprehend, like 'alien technology' in a science fiction movie. It's actually the theme of many movies today, that revolve around the false notion that aliens have visited the earth in the distant past. The assumption may seem logical. After all, what else could explain the sophisticated knowledge of geometry or remnants of advanced building techniques and celestial observatories found in so many ancient cultures. What we fail to realize is that before the flood man's knowledge was in many ways, far greater than it is today.

Please take time to think about the implications. What we are seeing in these numbers, sets of numbers and ratios is that the universe, and especially the sun, the moon, and the earth, are all defined by sophisticated mathematic systems (as opposed to merely being measured in terms of these systems). All of these 'systems' just happen to originate in the geometry of a simple cube, and more specifically, a cube with a volumetric measure of 216 cubic handbreadths (as we show so often throughout this blog). The significance of this cannot be understated. It is not merely theory or conjecture. It is an actual fact as demonstrated in the post on the primordial torah. The question is why.

What we know of this "cube," or its division into the two luchot is what has been preserved in the corpus of texts passed down by and amongst the Jewish people. From these sources, we even have details concerning the mathematic nature of the creation sequence. As you might suspect, it adheres strictly to this geometry, and we will now begin to examine one specific aspect of this geometry in detail. For now it is sufficient to understand that it involves the two halves of a cube. A cube has 5 internal mathematic constructs and 5 polar opposites. While the mathematic constructs themselves might be somewhat steep, they give rise to the edges, faces and vertices of 5 rather unique convex polyhedrons that are well known in geometry. Each of the 5 has a polar opposite or 'dual' form. These are modeled in our post on string theory and the luchot and so we won't repeat that explanation here in this post. This parashah deals with the cube mentioned above (in the combined cubic for of the luchot) and the effect of its division into two tablets, which we will now attempt to explain.

The first phase of creation was a complex process that required the “descent” of 10 sephirot (spheres). The term sephirot does not in any way refer to actual, physical spheres. Rather, it refers to emanations or attributes, a means to interact with what was being created. This phase was a necessary prerequisite for mankind to perceive existence. At the same time, it would result in a 'physical' three-dimensional space for this interaction to occur. In order to initiate the first phase, the sephirot descended in a single column. They were not yet divided  into their opposing halves (male or female) so they were unable to hold or convey “the light” of the Ein Sof (the Infinite One without end). In this form, an awareness of higher dimensions and the larger reality was not yet possible.

The first phase was complete only when the "first set" of sephirot “shattered,” to make way for the "second set," and a second phase, with the necessary attributes that would then "build on" the first phase. The "second set" of sephirot were 'brought down' (they were really the first set returning in a different form) to initiate the second phase, where this time, they would exist in male~female form, and duality would be created. Sefer Yetzirah refers to this duality and the second set of sephirot as 5 opposite 5 (dual columns). The written Torah actually alludes to these twin columns in several places (as you will see in a moment). In the meantime, the very same 'narrative' can also be found in the current model of string theory where 5 mathematic constructs are reconciled by dual resonance (we'll also provide additional details on string theory in the paragraphs ahead).

Where does the Torah allude to these primordial events? The concept is hidden beneath the surface of the text and bound up in the letters referring to two specific historical events. It uses the exact same letters to describe each of the two events, stating that: “when it came time give birth, twins were in her womb3.” These two phrases are most unusual because twins do not suddenly appear in the womb just prior to birth. They are there for the entire period of gestation. On one level, the verse refers either to Peretz and Zerach, or to Yaacov and Esav (two sets of twins). On another level however it refers to the columns of the sephirot, dual columns that were 5 opposite 5, male and female, like mother and father. On this level, the letters can be understood in the context of the larger reality, and so when it came time give birth [to the universe, it would require 'duality' and so in the second phase] twins were in her womb3What was different about these primal twins? Why were they capable of holding light, when their predecessors were not? This time the sephirot were “divided” into opposing columns, male and female halves, and in this form (as 5 opposite 5) the creation of the universe could progress

In so far as this parashah (and those immediately following) are concerned, we see an echo of the original event when Moshe goes up and sees the sapphire block under the throne, which will later be divided (into twin halves). The combined cubic form of this sapphire block (cosmic blueprint) with its 5 internal mathematic constructs and 5 polar opposites, provide the 'specification' for the sephirot to follow (in dual form as columns of 5 opposite 5) and so the events in this parashah, where the sapphire block is divided into its male and female halves, are a reflection of this primal event (the moment of creation and the moments immediately following that event).

In the physical universe, we perceive the process as a series of multiple events (because of our limited consciousness) but above, they are actually the same event. The series of events we perceive include the first set of luchot (tablets) that were brought down by Moshe, when the people did not yet possess sufficient awareness of their importance (and did not merit to receive) so they were shattered (the 10 commandments being a reflection of the 10 sephirot that were shattered before them). Then Moshe brings down a second set of tablets by which time the people are ready to receive (and possess an awareness of who they are and what is required of them). The people are now in a position to hold and convey this light (knowledge/consciousness of God) to the rest of the world. Just as the sephirot were a reflection of the blueprint/luchot, so too, the luchot are a reflection of the letters in the Architect's Name.

What this means is that the tablets with 10 commandments (that were 5 opposite 5) were just like their primal counterparts, the 10 sephirot (that were 5 opposite 5 / sefer yetzirah). The sephirot were in turn just like their primal counterparts, the 5 internal mathematic constructs and the 5 polar opposites in the cube [of creation] (luchot). Those 5 constructs and the cube in which they are found, are in turn a specific function of the 216 letters in God's Name that define the measure of the cube (like its volumetric measure of 216 cubic handbreadths, 2,160 degrees and various multiples etc). The reason that all of this is worth contemplating is that knowledge of God's Name results in an expansion of human consciousness (our sages said that at some future time, all mankind would become aware of God's Name). In fact, truth be known, mankind's very survival depends on it (the generations before the flood failed, or were unable to hold or convey this light and were destroyed).

Today, science is just beginning to catch up to the knowledge of what we sometimes call “ccSpace216"4 (a term we've started using to describe the relationship between God’s Name, the cube of creation and physics). An understanding of physics requires an understanding of the combined cubic form of the luchot and the three-dimensional space defined by the letters of the Name. Why? Because the 5 dynamic constructs within the luchot are what define the underlying basis of the universe. That is why there  are 5 string 'theories' (type I, IIA, IIB, HE, HO) and why those 5 can be reconciled by what physicists refer to as "dual" resonance (see the post on string theory and the luchot where the 5 constructs and their relationship to string theory is modeled and explained in more detail).

Those 5 types of strings have a symmetric correlation to the 5 types of constructs within the cube of creation. We’ll provide some additional diagrams in a moment (that are in no way mathematically or geometrically accurate) but nevertheless show the correlation between the luchot and the various string theories (which are a way to mathematically describe vibrating strands of energy). Before we get into that however, we need to go back in time and examine some of the events that are reflections of the original primordial event!

So great were these original events, in terms of magnitude, that their shadows could be seen as ripples in the space-time continuum in the world below (then and now). Not only are they found in physics, but long before our understanding of science reached this point, they could be seen by the Sages of Israel in the permutations and combinations of letters in Torah (its actual linguistic structure and the 'numbers' associated with any given part of the narrative) all of which are to one degree or another reflections of the primordial energy in the cosmic blueprint. These reflections took form in such things as specific events throughout history, over the course of time. Each event, ultimately conveyed by various permutations of letters, which are a representation of sound/vibration and the resulting conversion of energy to matter (creation) are perfect reflections of the original event. Here are but a few examples:

The 10 commandments on two tablets that were then shattered.
The return of those 10 commandments
(5 commandments opposite 5 commandments on two tablets)

The 10 sayings by which the world was created
The 10 months in which the world was destroyed during the flood
(for 5 months the water rose and for 5 months they receded)

The 10 sayings of creation and also...
The 10 counterparts that negated these sayings (in the 10 plagues of the exodus)
(5 upper and 5 lower plagues: Maharal)

The 10 tapestries covering the mishkan
The 10 commandments covering (protecting) Israel from destruction
(the 5 commandments on one tablet and the 5 on the other)
(5 tapestries sewn together at one end hooked to 5 sewn together at the other end)

The 10 years subtracted from Yoseph's life for not disputing...
The 10 things that were said against his father Yaacov
(5 times they were stated and 5 times were they repeated by the translator)

The 5 things in the First House (these 5 were not in the Second House)
The 5 things that happened on the 9th of Av (the 5 on the 17th of Tamuz)

The above are just a few examples but they serve to show why prophecy and history are really the same thing. History inevitably repeats itself. Prophetic insight was (an really still is) connected to an understanding of these reflections. With an intimate knowledge of God's Name, and how its letters define the various measures of the luchot, our sages could see how these reflections would play themselves out over specific periods of time (using this knowledge in combination with such things as the shmita cycle, the temple cycle, jubilee cycle etc). The primordial event that started these cycles was the “big bang” which is more aptly described as the creation of the three-dimensional space and its underlying physics mentioned above. Just like any other event, this event also repeats itself (each reflection is generally hidden in similar form and substance). However, this particular event was of such magnitude, that each of its reflections is extremely bright. So much so, that even the blind will eventually see the connection between the physical nature of the universe, the events, the geometry and the measure of the luchot, and the letters of God's Name.

The first reflection (of the moment of creation) can also be found in the letters of Torah that refer to this creation, where in Parashah Beresheit it says: “In the beginning... God created...” These letters are quite literally in the beginning of the word “beginning.” In Hebrew this word is 'beresheit' and it is comprised of 6 letters. So the first 5 letters of this word are in fact the beginning of the word "beginning”. The letters correspond to the three dimensions of space that have 6 directions and so there are 6 letters. However, the 6 directions are defined by a blueprint with 5 internal constructs, and so we see these 5 internal constructs within the 6 external dimensions of space that define our reality in three-dimensional space, or what was created "in the beginning" (like the 5 letters we find within 6 letters).

Those 5 constructs in turn define the sephirot (that were not yet undivided into their male~female counterparts). At this stage of creation, the 10 sephirot appeared as 5, because their male and female halves existed in a unified state (prior to division). They had not yet descended in two columns as previously mentioned. When you divide these 5 androgynous constructs (like the 5 mathematic constructs in the geometry of the luchot) you get 10 male~female halves, and so we see the descent of the 10 sephirot as 5 opposite 5 (sefer yetzirah). At this point you may remember that Yoseph was sold into slavery and the 5 pieces of silver received from the sale were divided in two and split by 10 brothers. This resulted in Yoseph's descent into Egypt. This event is one more reflection of its more primordial counterpart, which was man's (or Adam's) descent into this world (one of those events that happened "in the beginning" when non-corpreal became corporeal). All of these events are examples of a larger reality that is entirely dependent upon specifications within the cosmic blueprint. Everything is interconnected but the dots always connect back to the letters of God's Name and the blueprint/luchot they define.

A reflection of these events can be found in this parashah where the permutations and combinations of letters (primal energy of creation) describe a time immediately preceding the moment when Moshe would divide and bring down the luchot (more on this in a moment). However, we also see a reflection of these events in the text of Parashah Toldot albeit with different letters. There, the primordial event is described as the moment "when it came time to give birth [and] twins were in her womb.

The surface of the text (or words of the narrative) in this second reflection, are actually describing the birth of Yaacov and Esav, the ultimate archetype of the righteous man and the evil twin (awareness of good and evil) but beneath the surface of the text, hidden within the unusual language or stream of letters corresponding to the narrative, is the allusion to the original primordial event, where the letters describe the birth of the universe and the “symmetry” of its opposing halves. This is why it is described in terms twins that suddenly appear in the womb. This duality (or dual resonance as it is called in string theory) occurred in the moments immediately preceding the big bang. The language (in Toldot) describing the birth of Yacov and Esav is unusual because it alludes to so much more. As we mentioned earlier, when human twins are in the womb of their mother, they are present for what is essentially the entire period of gestation, not merely when it comes time to give birth. Not so with the creation of the universe! When the time arrived for the birth of the universe, the cosmic blueprint was divided and became the primordial “twins” which was then followed by the duality in the physics of the universe previously mentioned. All of this resulted from the division in the cube of creation, which was itself preceded by the division of the letters of God's Name (like the letters of the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton and the 4 letters of its polar opposite explained more fully in the post on 'the marriage of the letters'). The events in this parashah (which precede the division) and those of subsequent events, like the birth of "twins" that were suddenly in the womb in Toldot, are merely a reflection of a larger reality pertaining to the birth of the universe and the duality that sustains it by virtue of the letters of God's Name. The division (duality) occurred in an instant, shortly before the birth of the universe, when the sephirot were brought down in twin columns (5 opposite 5) but onlywhen it came time to give birth [when this phase of creation required duality].

A third reflection (of this moment of creation) is seen in Parashah VaYeshev where the exact same words appear again: “when it came time to give birth, twins were in her womb.” This time, the reflection of the primordial event took the form of the birth of Peretz and Zerach. However, the unusual language found in the text is the same, and once again a reflection of the same primordial event. Why is this exact phrase mentioned twice in the Torah? Why are their two sets of twins? Because the cube of creation would be divided into twin (halves) and brought down twice (5 opposite 5). Since the blueprint specifies this requirement (the 5 constructs with 5 polar opposites) the sephirot follow suit and they are brought down twice (5 opposite 5) and because they mirror the blueprint, the letters that follow (which are a shadow of the primordial energy) have 5 unique variants with 5 different ending forms (5 having a dual form). Is it any wonder that the physics of the universe can be described as 5 string theories reconciled by dual resonance, and that they too, mirror the specifications in the blueprint and the letters of creation? Of course not! That brings us to this parashah, where we see the fourth reflection of this primordial event (the moment of creation).

The fourth reflection is found here in the text of this parashah when the time actually arrives for Moshe to go up and see the cube (sapphire block under the throne) after which, it would be divided and brought down (as God had divided the sephirot into their male and female halves when they were brought down). When it came time to give birth, twins were in her womb. When it came time for the “twins” (luchot) to be brought into this world, each of the two halves of the original block had a volumetric measure of 108 cubic handbreadths. The sapphire block was defined by the Signature of its Architect (with 216 letters) and since the language of lashon hakodesh (Hebrew) mirrors the geometric nature of the sapphire cube [of creation] the gematria of various words do as well, like the word "half" which has a gematria of 108. Everything, again, is interconnected: the Name; the luchot; the geometry of the magen david within the luchot; and even the gematria of the Hebrew language.

Each of the 4 primary reflections we've mentioned so far, not only mirror the original primordial event (the initial moment of creation) but they also, on a more lofty level, mirror the primary letters (abbreviations) of the Architect’s Name (the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton opposite the 4 letters in the Havaya of Adnoot). What preceded the division of the blueprint/luchot with its 5 mathematics constructs and 5 polar opposites? The division of the blueprint was preceded by the division of the letters in God's Name. In the moments preceding creation, the 4 letters of Ekeyeh became the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton (yud-key-vav-key) opposite the 4 letters of its polar opposite (aleph-dalet-nun-yud). This is how God created duality. He created heaven and earth (duality) and separated light and darkness (duality) separating the waters above from the waters below (duality) and so forth.

The letters of His Name not only created duality, but they are what sustain this duality , including but not limited to the duality of the blueprint/luchot itself (two tablets). This is why the duality of the constructs within the geometry of the cube (the original combined cubic form of the luchot) had to be actualized by dividing it into twins, where each half (gematria 108) was 108 cubic handbreadths, and then brought down (to actualize what had previously been potential). It was a mirror image of the original event involved in the creation of a universe that would require such duality.

When the 4 letters were divided into 4 letters opposite 4 letters, everything had to follow suit. So we see this result in such things as the 4 forces of quantum mechanics and their 4 polar opposites (like the plus~minus of electricity). Everything must conform and does conform to the specifications in the cosmic blueprint, which must conform, and does conform to the letters in God's Name. If something does not conform to a specification of the blueprint, then there is a reset and a new cycle begins (as it did after the flood). This is tikkun (rectification) an aspect of a process that takes place over time.

The last reflection in this parashah (that was mentioned above) is the one in which we see the sapphire block under the throne. This fourth reflection is a perfect mirror image of the first (the original primordial event). Why are these two reflections so intricately interconnected? Because the luchot are both the mirror image of the event and the source of the event at the same time. We see this same 'pattern' in the 10 sayings of creation. Later, after the passage of time, the world is destroyed in like-manner during a flood that conforms to the same geometry in the creation-equation. For 5 months the waters rose and for 5 months they receded (10 months). There is a reset. After the flood 10 more kings arise, 5 reigning before the dividing of the continents, and 5 after the dividing of the continents. What was really being divided? It was the cosmic blueprint, cube of creation or shnei luchot (you can use whatever language you like to describe it) that was being divided into 5 opposite 5. The events were (merely) a reflection of a specification (in the geometric properties) of the blueprint/luchot. Does it end there? Of course not! That's why we see the same reflection in this parashah with the sapphire cube under the throne, which will soon be divided and brought down by Moshe. Each is a reflection of the same thing, which is the actual blueprint that God looked into before creating, and the events involving the blueprint that are seen by Moshe in this parashah. The luchot are destroyed, but then there is a reset and Moshe brings down the second set of luchot. There are 5 commandments on one, and 5 commandments on the other. Are the sephirot any different? The 10 sephirot (in a single column) are shattered. There is a reset and then the sephirot are brought back (5 opposite 5) and remain intact. Each is a reflection of the original primordial event. Each is a ripple in time originating in the gematria of the cosmic blueprint.

Here, in this parashah, we see the most significant ripple, the penultimate (last primary) reflection of the original event. Here, in this parashah, is where the sapphire block is prepared for division (resulting in 10 commandments on 2 luchot) to be physically “brought down” into the real world (further defining man's reality) and where the builders (the Jewish people) will be allowed to bring the light (knowledge of God) into the three-dimensional space defined by the cube [of creation].

Notice that each of the previous reflections (of the primordial event) becomes a reflection of a (yet to occur) future event (where the ripples in time become the source of prophecy) and where prophecy is simply a prediction of another reflection of the original event. In the case of this reflection, where the luchot are actually divided physically in “half” and given to Israel as 5 commandments on one, opposite 5 on the other, and where each half equates to 108 cubic handbreadths (half the original form of 216 cubic handbreadths) we see how its measure, along with other inherent aspects, reveal the mathematic nature of the “Signature of the Architect” in the cube of creation. The mathematic signature corresponds to the letters (or primordial energy) associated with His Explicit Name. And so in this parashah, God said to Moshe “go up to (the Name)[w/216 letters] along with Aaron, Nadav and Avihu, and 70 of the elders of Israel5. When you reach the top, remain at a distance, only Moshe may approach.”

The Torah continues: “Moshe [after receiving these instructions] went and told the people all of God’s words and the laws.” Until this moment in time, all was verbal, but then Moshe “wrote down all of God’s words6.” According to our sources, it took 6 days to accomplish this. Time moves forward and then the 4 men and the 70 elders (per the above instructions) “go up” to the top. There they “see a vision of the God of Israel, and under His feet was something like a sapphire brick, like the essence of a clear blue sky.” And under His feet was "something?"

Something? There is a mystery surrounding these events and especially the “something” that is described as a sapphire blue crystalline block. Many opinions have been offered. Some say that this block was later divided and brought down as the luchot or tablets (an understatement of unprecedented proportion in light of what we've explained in this post). The 'twins' were each "said to be" 6 x 6 x 3 (handbreadths) as mentioned above. Who said this? It was the Sages of Israel who understood that God looked into the primordial Torah before creating!

For purpose of review, and a speedy clarification, we offer the following. Before its division, the brick was a cube having a ratio of 6 handbreadths by 6 handbreadths by 6 handbreadths. The ratio is alluded to in several places (VaYera being just one example). The number of elements in “the matrix” of the cube is a direct reflection of the letters (primordial energy) associated with God’s Explicit Name. In terms of the luchot, the sources say that each was 6 x 6 x 3 (108) times the 2 luchot, which equals 216, or in terms of the original cubic form, it would have been 6 x 6 x 6, but again 216. Both ratios equate to the number of letters in God’s Name and are an aspect of the mathematic Signature we’ve been discussing, and which we've seen so many times throughout the various posts of this blog.

One cubit, by the way, is exactly 6 handbreadths. So we could also say that it was 1 cubit-cubed, an interesting measurement in-and-of itself because, as it turns out, the word “cubit” is derived from the measure of “the cube" of creation. Not only is it derived from the measure of a cube, but it is specifically derived from “the cube” in question, which was, literally, the combined cubic form of the luchot, or what was known to the ancient world, both before and after the the flood, as the cube of creation. The geometry of the cube as it pertains to the measure of the cubit is something that must be contemplated. It was the source of all known “mathematics” pertaining to the universe. This is why the celestial dynamics described in the post on the Primordial Torah and posts like Parashah Emor, Parsahah BeHa'alotheka and Parashah Metzora, are the mirror image of the geometry in the combined cubic form of the luchot. Unfortunately, the knowledge was quickly forgotten in the aftermath of the flood, except in the schools established by Shem and Ever who preserved this knowledge so that the letters associated with the Name and the knowledge of God could be passed down to their descendants. Among those descendants were Avraham, Yitzhak, Yaacov and ultimately the Jewish people, who preserve such knowledge until this very day.

In other words, the knowledge wasn’t really lost. It was merely entrusted to the righteous men of God who had been chosen for that purpose, lest man use it for corrupt purposes as he did before the flood. When it was time to bring knowledge of the original blueprint back into the physical universe, it was entrusted to Israel (brought down by Moshe) who would eventually restore this knowledge, preserve it, observe it (like the laws arising from its measurement) and otherwise protect it from those who would misuse the knowledge, as mankind had done before the flood. In the days of Mashiach, it will be used to rectify and repair a damaged world.

Here in Mishpatim, we see just the beginning of this process (or a reflection of the beginning) and the first few steps in a long series of events that would take 6,000 years to compete, as explained in the post on Parashah Metzora. God said to Moshe, “Come up to the mountain and remain there. I will give you the stone tablets (2) the Torah (1) and the mitzva of the (10) commandments, that I have written for instruction.” There are many things that could be said about these words, however insofar as this post is concerned, we will only mention that these numbers are a reflection of the same numbers and the same ratio that we saw in the last parashah pertaining to Yithro’s suggestion for the system of jurisprudence. Why? Because like everything else, they mirror the geometry of the blueprint!

You may remember that in terms of last week's parashah, the numbers involved in the adjudication of law were described in terms of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens of leaders, the fractional proportions being 1/10, 1/2, and 1/5, and so we showed how this corresponded to a single element within the royal seal, or star tetrahedron (which was 1/10) and that this star was the result of merging two tetrahedrons (a single tetrahedron being 1/2 of the star) in which any given element was also 1/5 the number of elements in a tetrahedron. The fractional proportions are the same in both cases: 1/10th, 1/2 and 1/5th. Any given commandment (element) can also be thought of in the same terms: one commandment is 1/10 the total number, or in terms of its internal constructs 1/10th of the original matrix. It is also 1/5th of a single tablet (after its division) and either of the luchot are 1/2 the combined cubic form, so we have the exact same fractional proportions. Under normal circumstances, something like this should be considered a coincidence (the data set is to small to determine significance). However, this case is not a normal circumstance for reasons which should now be obvious. It is a function of a larger reality involving God's plan.

In each of the cases we've mentioned thus far, the proportions give rise to the mathematic constructs that constitute a geometric signature corresponding to the letters in God’s Name embedded in the underlying properties of the cube [of creation]. They are found in both the combined cubic form (1) the divided form, as the luchot (2) and the internal constructs (10) which are the 'origin' of the commandments (10); but they are also found in the star tetrahedron (1) the tetrahedrons that form the star (2) and the elements of their internal geometry (10) resulting from their marriage (male and female) just like the original primordial event, and each of its reflections throughout history, that possess these same characteristics: 1 cube divided in 2, with 10 elements that are 5 opposite 5.

In each case, the numbers not only reflect the original event horizon (creation itself) and the moments that followed in which division (symmetry, dual resonance) resulted, but they also reflect the Signature of the Architect, that defines the “parameters” of the combined cubic form of the luchot. The picture below is a simple representation of the fractional proportions associated with each half of the Name, 108 cubic handbreadths in each half of the cosmic blueprint, the descent of the sephirot (in two columns) and as you’ll see in a moment, even string theory (5 constructs with dual resonance).

The Two Halves of the Cube
(as it relates to 10 that are 5 opposite 5)

1/10th      1/2       1/5th

The combined cubic form of the luchot or cube of metatron, the cube of creation, the cube’s 5 mathematic constructs and their 5 polar opposites, the 5 string theories, their dual resonance and symmetry (shown in contrast to one another in the diagram below) are all reflections of the same thing: the cosmic blueprint or combined cubic form of the luchot that is measured in terms of the 216 letters in God’s Explicit Name. The symmetry (not measure) is depicted below to clarify the relationship between one thing and another.

String Theory and the Cube of Creation
(Dual Resonance / Symmetry)

We modeled this more accurately in terms of the cubes actual internal constructs in the post on 'String Theory and the Luchot." The above picture is just a simple diagram representing the 5 internal mathematic constructs that are, in reality, unique, regular-convex-polyhedrons known as: the tetrahedron; the cube; the octahedron, the dodecahedron and the icosahedron, each of the five against its polar opposite and each as it relates to a type of string. The tetrahedron is of course its own polar opposite. The polar opposite of the cube is the octahedron and the polar opposite of the octahedron is the cube. The polar opposite of the dodecahedron is the icosahedron and the polar opposite of the icosahedron is the dodecahedron. This one-to-one relationship is identical to string theory, where the counterpart of the tetrahedron is type 1, which is its own opposite (consisting of both open and closed strings). The remaining types are all closed. The counterpart of type IIA is IIB (like the mathematic constructs that define the cube and the octahedron). They are opposite one another in that one is chiral and the other non-chiral. The counterpart of HE is HO (like the mathematic construct that defines the dodecahedron and the icosahedron). Here, it is the symmetry that separates one type from the other, but each is tied to certain aspects of euclidean space (measured by 216 x, y, and z coordinates) and E8.
We mentioned the unusual connection between the letters of God's Explicit Name and E8 in our post on Parashah Shemeni and Tazria, and its further significance in terms of euclidean space and the 4 species waved on sukkoth, but it is further detailed in the post we just mentioned on string theory and the luchot.

In the meantime, you can also see the 5 opposite 5 nature of the cosmic blueprint or "the cube" of metatron pictured below in two-dimensions.

If you look carefully, you will see the cube along each of its 5 mathematic "constructs," as well as the edges, faces, and vertices, in the geometrics they define. String theory, the cube, and the letters of God’s Name all have a remarkable connection. We should add at this point, that it was Leonardo Pisano (Fibonacci) who first brought this to attention of his peers in the west, and quantified the 5 mathematic constructs in a cube (defining the polyhedrons mentioned above) showing that 1 was its own polar opposite, and the remaining 4 were each-other’s polar opposite. We can express these geometric relationships as 4 opposite 4 of one type (with different polar opposites) or, we can express them as 5 opposite 5 (when they are taken together). Do these numbers and their relationship sound familiar? Did we not find these exact same numbers embedded in the nature of certain historical events recorded in Torah? Did we not see them in the physics of string theory? Were they not in quantum mechanics?

You can see a two-dimensional orthographic projection of the star tetrahedron (what we call the royal seal) with its 216 geometric elements in the form of 72 triangles, in the center. The numbers, sets of numbers and ratios are all defined by the letters of the One Explicit Name, of which the abbreviations (with 4 opposite 4 letters) are part. As it is in the Name, so it is in the cosmic blueprint (cube of creation/metatron/luchot) and as it is in the blueprint, so it is in the world below (where in physics the 5 constructs in dual form give rise to the 5 string “theories” and dual resonance).

The “fifth” construct (in the form of the math that defines the tetrahedron) suggests the existence of an as-yet undefined force (in quantum mechanics) that is above and beyond all the rest. Interestingly enough, physicists have recently found evidence of a possible fifth force! Although, I think they'll find that it is really a reflection of the four found in the ultimate quantum singularity that we perceive in the 4 letters of the Tetragrammaton and the 4 letters of its opposite.

The text of Mishpatim of course continues with a further description of these events and an allusion to the ratio of the cube that Moshe would divide: “As soon as Moshe reached the mountain top, the cloud covered the mountain." Moses goes into the cloud which "covered [the mountain] for 6 days." This either began on the 6th of Sivan or ended on the 6th of Sivan depending on the source. So on top of everything stated above, we now have (from the beginning of these events) Moshe spending 6 days going back and forth bringing the words of God to the people (the permutations of the letters possibly resulting from mathematic combinations and certain positions in the matrix) then his subsequent ascent; where he stayed in the cloud for 6 days; and finally, the events begin (or end) on the 6th of Sivan.

The description alludes to the dimensions for the combined cubic form of the luchot and its volumetric measure to the letters of God’s Name (6 x 6 x 6 = 216) that was then divided and given to the people as the shnei luchot (2) where the dimensions of each half resulted in a volumetric measure of 108 opposite 108 elements/handbreadths/letters (two halves) as is known. You will see the significance (and many reflections of this 'blueprint') as each week’s parashah unfolds.

Next week, we will see these very same numbers; sets of numbers; and ratios; in the construction of the Ohel Moed (Tabernacle) the Ark, the Table and the Menorah. In fact, next week's parashah has so many numbers and ratios corresponding to this unique Signature, that we will only be able to cover a fraction of them.
____

Footnote 1 - The Name does not contain a letter gimmel. However, the combination of two or more letters (plus or minus) can result in an entirely different letter. For example, the sum of 2 yuds and 1 vav is an aleph. The sum of 1 yud and 1 vav also creates an aleph with a special nature (sometimes found in Torah) and finally (insofar as this example is concerned) the same letters can also be added together to create a gimmel.

Footnote 2 - An esoteric allusion to the two luchot or two halves (division of) the combined cubic form of the luchot into 5 opposite 5. R. Ishmael refers to it as "the cube" of metatron (sefer hekhalot). Metatron was Enoch.  Enoch never died. He returned to the original form of man (non-corporeal). The cube of metatron (or cube of creation) had a volumetric measure of 216 cubic handbreadths. The handbreadths correspond to the triplets (of letters) in God's Name. R. Ishmael refers to these triplets as "wings," where the division of "the cube" results in 36 triplets (108) to the left and 36 triplets (108) to the right (a total of 72 triplets). This is the result of dividing the combined cubic form of the luchot in half, where each half is 108 cubic handbreadths in the ratio of 6 x 6 x 3. In other words, "the cube" of metatron, "the cube" of creation, and the "combined cubic form of the luchot" were different "names" for the same thing. There is a great deal more to the story, but this much will suffice for the purpose of this post.

Footnote 3 - This is the phrase used in Torah describe the birth of the "twins" in the case of both Rivka and Tamar However reference to the "womb" (that was suddenly with "twins") is an esoteric reference to the creative force of the Shechina or Holy Feminine.

Footnote 4 - ccSpace216 is a term we use to describe "the space" (and physics) defined by the letters of the Name and the volumetric measure of the “combined cubic form of the luchot” which creates the template by which the entire universe is measured. This concept is more fully explained, documented and diagrammed in an advanced construct on the 8 dimensions that essentially demonstrates where, why, and how, the patterns of numbers in the Torah originate with, or are a function of the 8 dimensions in ccSpace (the 'euclidean space' in the measure of a cubit-cubed).

Footnote 5 - Notice there were 4 men along with 70 elders. These numbers and the ratio are found in several places within the Torah. Since the significance was explained in VaYigash and HaBerakhah, we will not delve into them here however, their primary significance is best demonstrated in the post on the Incense and the 216 Letters.

Footnote 6 - Reference to "all of God's words" alludes to the permutation of the letters (associated with His Name) that were then delivered (given) to the people.
